It's been a while since the City of Lubbock produced a Big 12 caliber football player. And Lubbock Coronado High School has not provided Texas Tech an athlete since the signing of Mustang quarterback Austin Zouzalik back in 2008.

Coronado's drought could be coming to and end as two Mustang defensive ends are expected to sign with BCS caliber schools on National Signing Day, 2014.
